My Doxie loves this carrier. I do have a separate car seat harness on her for safety though. This carrier/bed is super comfy, though it might be too hot since we live in Florida but seems to be fine. As you can see from pics attached she loves its and settles in immediately which she wasn't doing previously on car rides. Since it is comfy it isn't a sturdy carrier so if that is what you need, this isn't for your furbaby. It has extra pockets on the side that come in handy as well. I hesitated on this purchase and now wish I would have bought it sooner since she does like it so much, it was the medium sized one and she is about 13 lbs.IvyRose is a very picky 9 year old chihuahua. She loves her new car seat / bed!! Very easy to move from one car to another, and hold all of her belongings she has to have for her day. She goes with me to work everyday. I have recommended this to alot of my dog loving coworkers and friends.So far this seat is great, my 22 pound Puggle loves it, she was uncomfortable in the standard bench car seat. She could not look out the window without trying to climb up the inside of the door. Now can look right out without leaving this seat. Not good for keeping them in placeIt's so soft and comfortable that my Havanese puppy, who weighs 10 pounds, curls up and relaxes while riding in the car. The sides are soft and that works for us because my puppy likes to rest his chin on them. My 9 yr old daughter installed it in a minute. We've nbeen using it for a month and it's proven to be perfect for us. Of note, I have bucket seats and I think the slant backwards helps the dog seat sit securely in it's place.So I got this for our new car. My friends have been saying that we needed to get a new car seat for a long time because it helps keep the dog safe if we’re on long journeys. I got this thinking it was going to be uncomfortable but she absolutely isn’t.The bed is soft so it’s comfy for her to lay in. I have a 10ths dog so she isn’t large and she fills the seat. The seat has 2 straps to hang around the back of the seats which keeps it sturdy should you need the brake. There is a lead that connect to your dog harness that your puppy should be wearing and that keeps her in place. It’s definitely a great purchase and I’m so happy we got it. We’ve been using it since we got it and it’s been great because we take our dog everywhere!Love this! Now my pal has a place to keep him safe and secure while he rides.This is so easy to use use. My dog loves going for rides in the car, and this is more comfortable for him. I think he likes it better than just sitting in the seat. And it still has a way to seatbelt him. A win win for us both! He weighs 17lbs and He still has roomThe design looked super cute, however wasnt able to install it properly in my Volkswagen Tiguan. No matter how hard I tried to secure it with the straps, it just wouldnt stay in place. My dog (boston terrier) never wanted to sit in it and the worst is for the little times ive use it to travel with my dog in the car, one day i pulled it gently to replace it and the whole seem ripped and there was this brown fluff all over my car. Save yourself some money and go buy a different product.Really nice, have not seen seen anything comparable for a car. I have the hammock covering the back seat but putting this car seat on top of it is so much better. Used to just place her old bed there but it was sliding around on the hammock fabric. My dog is the type who just curls up for a nap the moment the car starts moving, so having a soft bed with raised sides is great.Overall really amazing purchase. My pug is about 17lbs and slept in it before it was even installed! It is extremely soft and comfortable for him and the instructions were clear and easy to install!! Highly recommended for your little fur baby!This is promoted as a dog car seat and it's nothing more than a bed with a flimsy strap. It's unsafe for a car and dangerous to both dogs and human passengers because it flops around in the car.It was marketed as: "Seat is Only Suitable for Small Pets (up to 35 lbs)."I really like this for my small dog (10lbs), but my bigger dog doesn't fit it at all ( she weighs 28lbs). I'd say this is suitable for dogs under 20lbs in my experience. Otherwise I have zero complaints.
