This was definitely harder to assemble than I was anticipating. Some of the settings were off for adjustment of the leg pieces but all in all it was an easy fix. Chairs are very comfortable and look very nice. For the price I expected it to feel a little more “sturdy”. However with most clients it should bear the weight without any issues.Overall a good chair. my only gripe is when you recline the top half the base where your butt sits doesn't recline with it to cradle the client causing them to slide out unintentionally.I am a tattoo artist. This chair has features that are awesome. And some not so awesome. Hydraulic needs more travel distance upward. Legs swing out for easy back access.great. But. The swivel mechanism is lite duty and therefore the legs have a lot of up and down play. I fear will not last. But. Time will tell. The armrest need improvement. Small fine threaded hardware forLocking in place strips easily.and too many slide in joints. Simplify it. Upper swivel joint is awesome but feel if they located another Four to six inches lower it would give superior all angle adjustments both inward and outward plus forward and back meeting every customers measurements of comfort for both the customer and the artist. With a few changes this chair would rival other companies. Luckily I have a friend who is welder/ fabricator and I have taken liberty to make the improvement changes needed. Needless to say. Based on this and the high cost of other chair I purchased for comparison. Inkbed if done right would be the best chair on the market. Hands down. Inkbed. I hope you read this. I talked with Josh in quality and yes. Customer service excellent but why send the same hardware that obviously dId not hold up in the first place and needed replacement within the first month. We are a busy shop.so. Inkbed. Make the changes. And reap the rewards. I do recommend this chair. But also recommended inquiring if changes have been made to improve it.Overall, I very much like this chair for it's versatility but they must have changed the upholstery. The one in the stock photo shows a smooth surface with nice, plushy tufting job (as seen on the horizontal rows on the back, seat, and leg pieces). As you can see in my photos, that method of tufting is non-existent. The plushiness that was marketed in their photos would have been preferable to help prevent slippage of the the user down the seat. It also looks better. I'm a little disappointed in this deception. Otherwise, it's a good chair.I've been tattooing for 16 yrs. I bought two of these for my shop. I am currently using one of them. At first the bed was great. But then pieces started breaking on different areas of the bed. The legs are the worst. I loved the idea of moving a leg outwards. I even tell clients not to put weight on the legs so the chair will last. It seems like even the smallest amount of weight bends the bar to these legs so they sag and won't sit straight up. That and the other broken parts leaves me to believe they aren't really using quality metals.(cheaply made). If you want a bed that will last more than a year...this is not it.Very versatile. the multi position legs come in handy. There are a lot of surfaces and curves to clean effectively. I purchased the add on armrests but they are cumbersome and bulky, I would opt out and just use a regular arm prop as the mounting hardware gets in the way and is a shin buster. otherwise the chair is worth the price and is well built. So let's start with shipping. Shipping was absolutely horrible. I hope the company that sold the chair ends up leaving UPS as their shipper and goes to FedEx USPS or someone else because everything which is completely terrible. But the chair itself is absolutely amazing. Put it together was not too difficult it went very fast. Once everything was put together as always super comfortable great material fabric is amazing, the hydraulic pump is perfect, the locking wheels are really really perfect. Ihave not used the standard legs. I look forward to using this chair for many many years.Highly recommended. Very sturdy. Easy to use, very comfortable, and the different seating options make this a very versatile chair. I mainly bought this to show my customers that I appreciate their business, because without them, I wouldn't be where I am now.I did have a problem with the hydraulic. I emailed Inkbed and they were very responsive. They sent me a replacement hydraulic with the quickness. I do recommend raising the chair at least a half inch, on the side of the pedal, if you are using the the feet instead of the wheels, as your pedal will hit the floor but not enough to lower the chair completely. My only complaint is the flimsy wrenches that come with it for assembly...Wait till you are able to use sturdy tools. It took me forever to get it together...had the husband bring tools from his work to finish putting it together.Great chair loved it until it dump two of my clients on the floor . I continuously have to remind client to sit exactly on the middle part of the chair before having them lie down or else timber !!! Goes the chair!!! One of my client was lying down and wanted to sit up and yup there she goes the chair flipped on her and she fell to the floor. Thank goodness she was cool about itThis is a great client bed, sturdy and well built. I've used the similar sounding Rat Hole brand for last 5 years and this chair is far better, price is better too. More positioning options and very comfortable. Base is nice and wide, so no matter which way you spin the bed you wont dump your client on their head. Armrests are optional, so be prepared to spend another $270 Canadian for that add on. I use my stand alone arm rest, but I think I will order the one built for Inkbed just to have it.I’ve ordered four of these so far. All of them were easy to put together, came with all the parts and overall have gotten great reviews from my clients. They are beyond comfortable for long sits!Fabulous value for the cost! Versatile and great options for convenience. Difficult to assemble. Lacking instruction.Looks very stylish. Easy to put together. Good quality
