It seems she like to feel more cuddle up in a bed with sides. We have this bed out during the day and she'll lay on it and hang out playing with her toys. It's very easy to clean and washes well.I'm not nuts about the egg-crate foam. She has another one with a top layer of gel and seems to like that one better.Nice washable cover that doesn't shed much.I have two great danes and it is hard to find a bed that fits their giant size. Some beds I have had in the past, don't withstand their weight nor do they withstand their claws. I haven't had any issues with pilling or tearing whatsoever. The cushioning is thick and very comfortable. I have sat on it without sinking to the floor. Great dog bed and retains its shape very well!It’s very soft and comfortable. It’s a good size for large dogs. The cover comes off for washing. Great for older dogs with arthritis. Definitely recommend.As the other reviewer mentioned - you might be a little taken aback when this arrives as it s in a comparatively small box but it is like those mattresses that ship - it bounces into action and ‘grows’ once out of the box.It has the egg carton effect which feels very weird - like big bubble wrap under the cover and I half expected my puppy to ‘pop’ it as he is in that chew everything mode but so far it seems durable enough to last, he seems very happy sleeping on it and it is big - our puppy is quickly approaching 30 lbs at 5 months and there is room for him to grow it!Really great dog bed!I have another pet bed that is eggcrate foam similar to this one but it expanded after opening to the shape of the bed cover while this one has never flattened out even after 7 days. The bed itself is supportive but appearance wise it just doesn't look as nice as the pet beds that you can get at Costco or Petsmart. The cover looks easy to clean but I haven't washed it yet as it hasn't been used while I was waiting to see if the bed would flatten out before being put to use.This review is for the Shilucheng Dog Bed X-Large in Gray. This replaced a dog bed that unfortunately one of the dogs had ruined with urine. Both dogs immediately like this bed. This bed fits two 70/75 lb pit bulls that cuddle up together when they sleep. We also like the removable/washable cover and would not consider a dog bed without one. It's also nice that the bed is available in a choice of sizes and colors.The dog bed seems decently made, and the pricing seems fair (at least with all the increased costs in materials over the past couple of years). I'm hopeful that this dog bed will hold up. This dog bed comes pre-assembled with the cover already on. It is compressed a lot for shipping, so it took overnight before it expanded out to full size.It’s their new favorite spot to lay. Good support for my >100 lb Labs and smaller pup too.
