It was sturdy but it’s tiny AND thin it was cool for when I first started massage school and wanted to practice at home but I wouldn’t work on paying clients on it ??♀️There is only one negative to this item -weight. Don't get me wrong, it's not a major issue, but as I am a mobile massage therapist, a cart might be in the future. Other than that, you can't go wrong ordering this. I ordered the 3" because it has more cushion and comfort than the 2" yet not the added weight of the 4". If you are just going to set it up and leave it, then by all means, go for the 4". But you can't go wrong with the 3". Took me less than 5 minutes to unpack and assemble. Sturdy and I'm sure it will handle my largest customers (ugh!). And the price is unbeatable. Very same table in local store for $250. Yes, you have to pay shipping and freight but the cheapest I found this table with free shipping still couldn't beat this price.4 strong stars. It's not the top of the line table but for the money, you really couldn't expect more.I bought this table for home use and am pleased with the product. It is well made and the materials are of good quality. I am not sure how it would stand up to daily use by a pro but for home use I expect it will give good service. The padding is comfortable and the cover easily washable. The wooden legs seem sturdy and serviceable. The face rest and extension arms fit into the frame when folded up and the clearances with the legs are tight, so it takes some adjusting to get everything positioned for closure.Overall, I think it is a very good value.I've had the table for a couple of years now and am still pleased with the product. it is holding up well with my occasional use. The face rest and extension arms fit into the frame with dowels and I am conscious of how easily the dowels could break or wallow out the holes with careless use. I do take care though and so have had no problems.I am not a massage therapist or anything like that. I thought it would make a nice pleasurable experience between my wife and I to have a table to better take away the aches and pains of getting older, and it has done that. The table seems to be built well, we've used it a couple of times now and been very satisfied. After the initial setup and unpacking, it sets up in about a minute and has all the extras, (face rest, arm rests, etc) right inside for easy assembly. I am 6ft and my wife is shorter so the 77" length is sort of wasted, except it is a good place to put your elbows while working on the feet. I saw some tables that had 2" padding and I wonder how that would be. I really like the 3", it is very comfortable but firm. I don't know if 2" would be the same comfort level. So far it has been a very good purchase and I am extremely happy with it. Maybe because it is my first one and I like it so much. This table is pretty long, and the padding is comfy but supportive. It was a snap to set up, and we didn't even have to adjust the height! (While massaging I usually stand, and for treating someone with Reiki I sit in a regular folding chair; either way, the height is perfect!)While the table is heavy, it seems relatively light given the thickness of the padding and the length of the table. We aren't planning to carry it around, but we push it against the wall when not in use, and sliding it across the floor is effortless and pretty quiet, even on a hard wood floor.Bottomline: It's a sturdy, comfy table that's easy to use. Given the low price (compared to other models), it's a very good investment!I like this table overall, so I will just give some pro's & con's for readers:Pro's:The length of the tableThe 3" padding is phenomenalThe adjustable face cradle is super handyVery sturdyThe priceCon's:The narrow widthIn order to be stable, this table really needs to stay at a mid-low setting (so if you're short, NO Problem)If you have a mobile business, this table is a bit heavyI bought this for home use; we're part of the Silver Tsunami and the backaches seem to come with more frequency. This table was above and beyond what we expected and the price is unbeatable. I'm not going to lug it around so weight isn't an issue. It does fold quite neatly with all accessories tucked in. Nice carrying case. Setup is a snap. Sturdy and comfortable for 6'4" sturdy guy. As stated, didn't purchase as a professional, but would highly recommend to a new therapist starting out. Great purchase!A bit narrow good for practice.
