I neeeeever leaving reviews but I have a LOT of feelings about this bed.The concept of the bed is awesome and is what I needed for my studio apartment. I’m also poor lol. I spent forever looking at all different brands of loft beds and confirming that adults can use them etc. Really disappointed in it.The directions were fine, but over half of the pieces did not have labels. I wish the instructions had larger images, because it was hard for me to figure out which specific unique piece it was referencing. Because of this I eventually mixed some pieces up and got lost. I had to hire a dude to come build it and he was confused multiple times too.The bed scares the F out of me. My mattress and I weigh under the 250 lb weight limit, but every second I’m up there I feel like it’s about to completely collapse and destroy all my stuff that’s underneath. It gives me anxiety that it’s gonna smash my cats one night and I don’t like them under it. The slightest movement makes the bed creak and sway alarmingly. I feel like the woman in Jurassic Park 2 when she is laying on that window that’s gonna break and she has to very slowly and carefully get off of it before she falls to her death thru it. The second I went up the ladder the first time I immediately regretted this decision. The ladder and entire bed are so flimsy and I feel like a hefty toddler could kick it in half. When I’m up there I’m nervous because it’s just SOOO wobbly and makes really loud and alarming sounds like the wood is about to crack. It definitely does not have enough support and I don’t trust it. Even for like a 10 year old kid. The corners are really sharp too.My last beef with it is that despite the billions of visible screw holes, they don’t have any of those stickers you put on them to make the bed look nicer.TLDR; Shoddy, not enough support, loud af and gives you anxiety being up there or under it, and I don’t trust it.
