This storage ottoman was bought to hold what was in a larger ottoman. When I first saw it, set up, I was sure it wouldn’t hold everything, but it was perfect. Now I have shoes in the larger one and photo albums in the new one. I tested the sturdiness by having a friend who weighs just slightly over 300 pounds sit on it, while I held my breath. No need to worry it passed the test with flying colors. I am very happy with this purchase.I liked everything about it but wish it is slightly 2” higher with a bigger capacity for 1 large load of clothes. I am small and can sit on it without any problem and if it is higher I can sit on this and use my laptop or iPad comfortably by placing them on my bedThis is a great little ottoman that I was able to pack and take on the plane to give to someone for their little cabin. It has storage inside , looks nice and makes a great foot rest. You can even sit in it as long as you’re small. Great price too!It has held a 300lb adult comfortably but it’s profile is quite low to the ground. No complaints though since that’s what I wanted! I bought two for my daughters to put their shoes in and use in their closet area also as stools. Also temporarily Being used at their vanity’s until we get them chairs.Ok so if you are a plus size person you can sit on this and not collapse it . It is very nice in the house I got the grey love it. It stores so much that I plan to get more. Great value great find. Great for storing shoes in front area n storing blankets n toys too .Very nice for the money. I had one that was similar, but the quality of the tufting and padded top much better.The workmanship on this piece of furniture if you can it that, is awful. From the wood sticker applied to the legs, down to the material which at best could be described as pressed paper. Don't even think about buying this product, look away, save yourself the time and frustration you would have other spent assemblying something of quality. Learn from my mistake, the suppliers should be ashamed of themselves for calling this anything but recycling material and even that's a stretch.Color was as expected, sturdy and higher quality than expected.
