I’m on a mission to organize our home with more elegant storage options. We currently use large Hefty under bed boxes and while they aren’t cute, they hold quite a bit and are durable. With our platform bed, you can see the storage boxes but we still need the under bed space to combat a lack of closet space.I found these linen boxes and waited two months for delivery, but they did not live up to my expectations to justify replacing our current containers. While cute and I appreciate that these are foldable, I didn’t realize from photos and the listing that the “Oxford cloth” (a sort of plastic-y nylon material) on the bottom of the boxes are not reinforced and the inserts that go over the bottom cloth are also wrapped in Oxford cloth. The bottom of one of my boxes had a pull already and I could easily see a wood floor or pet claw putting a large hole into the bottom, or even busting out of the container if you try to pick it up with heavy contents. We didn’t try transferring our sheets and blankets (what currently lives under our bed) into these to test capacity, but I am confident that we would have needed more space and that the lids would not have fit with current contents.I think these could be improved with a sturdier canvas or similar bottom and while cute, they likely won’t hold as much as you would think. Probably a good storage solution for sweaters or thin items that you want to get out of the way (documents, photos, seasonal table cloths/napkins, decor), but not ideal for comforters or quilts.These boxes are fine - we bought them because target was out of the ones they sell like this. We have one target one and three of these. We much prefer the Target ones - they’re sturdier and the lid actually stays onI like the size and shape of it. I wish the lid was better made for it. It does not stay on the container. I wish it was better made as well.Not awful for the price but very flimsy. Decent size, fits well under the bed, just not very strong or durable. Would work fine for storing things that aren't moved frequently, but probably can't stand up to constant handling.Wish it was alittle bigger and the lid doesn’t work very well, but it does the jobNo matter how many times I've tried to force the shape back into submission... it keeps getting out of whack - the sides of the box are just not sturdy enough to maintain its shape which leads to the sides pushing out and the top of the box not fitting the shape anymore:( it should really have some sort of frame with the fabric wrapped around itI ended up returning this item because the reason I bought it was to store my comforters in. This is more for clothing items or small things to store. The cover is not very sturdy and did not stay on. Only buy this if you do not plan on putting a lot of things inside.Na
